This Chapel, now used as the Choir Vestry, was built over the crypt in the last quarter of the thirteenth century. A fine view into the chancel is available from this chapel. The Chapel is entered by a gateway of early sixteenth century design. The tracery of the windows is of the geometrical decorated pattern. The roof is a particularly fine example of early sixteenth century woodwork. It contains many interesting bosses, e.g., a fox in a pulpit preaching to geese, a miller on his horse, emblems of the four evangelists in the centre beam, and of four minstrels on the west side.
